Travis Laufle
Hi, I’m Travis, owner and coach at TRVFIT Detroit. I got my start in fitness over a decade ago when I reached a point in my life where I was no longer happy with the way I looked and felt. I stopped making excuses and got to work, leading to a 40lb weight loss journey followed by a pursuit in personal training. It wasn’t until I found TRVFIT though, first as a member then as a coach, that I truly decided to pursue the path of helping others. Now as owner of TRVFIT Detroit, I work tirelessly to foster Detroit’s best fitness community! I thoroughly enjoy and appreciate every single person that steps foot in our doors and gives us the opportunity to positively impact their lives.

Hi, I’m Carter and fitness has always been a huge part of my life as I grew up playing baseball, soccer, football and then went on to play collegiate basketball. That is when I truly found my love & passion for fitness. For me, the gym is not only an outlet to release anxiety & stress, but also helps me create daily healthy habits and improve my mental health. Fitness teaches me to focus on being the best version of myself on a day to day basis. Having the privilege to coach a community full of hard working individuals and being able to impact their lives in a positive way through fitness is something I enjoy doing the most! I am so thrilled to be a part of the TRVFIT family and help every one of you reach their full potential. In my classes you can expect to be pushed to your limits, have fun, and good vibes! I love to teach strength training with a sprinkle of functional movements. Outside of the gym I love spending time with family & friends, watching sports, and going on adventures!

I look forward to helping you feel your absolute best, inside and out. I want you to feel comfortable, confident and ready to take on anything you set your mind towards! My fitness journey started when I was in high school working towards becoming a collegiate athlete. I was injured my junior year of high school cross country and set my heart on getting back to being in ideal fitness. Finding functional exercises and resistance training was what helped me bring my body and mind to where I am today and why I am so passionate about multiple modalities of health and well-being. I have been a group fitness trainer for over 2 years in strength and resistance-based training, have a bachelors degree in Health Sciences with a concentration in Nutrition and plan to become a RD & CSSD, Registered Dietitian and Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics. If I’m not working I’m usually biking, running, reading, spending time with friends & family, or trying new foods and recipes. I understand patience and persistence to see and feel the results of hard work and I hope to help you create a similar mindset for crushing goals and adding purpose to fitness. I am excited to help you feel strong and successful in and outside of TRV|FIT!

I’m passionate about health & wellness and dedicated to helping you transform both physically and mentally. My journey started in 2019 after college when I sought visible change, both inside and out. Through weightlifting and strength training, I discovered the power of fitness not only to build my body but also to improve my mental health and sense of purpose. This transformation inspired me to share my knowledge and motivate others to achieve their own health goals. In 2024, I earned my Life Coaching Certification to expand my ability to guide others toward lasting change. Health & wellness has become more than a lifestyle for me-it’s a journey of growth, strength, and confidence. As your coach, I’ll empower you to build a strong foundation, hold you accountable, and make your fitness journey enjoyable and rewarding. Together, we’ll focus on both physical strength and mental well-being to create lasting results. Let’s get started on your path to a healthier, happier you!

Chloe
Hi! I’m Chloe. I received my Personal Training Certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), as well as a certification in ONNIT Foundations. My fitness journey started when I was young. I grew up dancing and playing sports, but it wasn’t until my mid-twenties when I found my love for the gym. It was a place I could go to get away from life’s daily stressors, and it was a place that ultimately saved me from making unhealthy decisions with my life. My style of training is a mix of everything with a focus in functional training. I love working with barbells and dumbbells, but my absolute favorite modality is kettlebells. I have such a passion for Kettlebell Training, and I’m so excited to introduce complexes and flows to TRVFIT Detroit! When you take my classes, we’re going to work hard, but most importantly have FUN. I can’t wait to see you at our next class!

My health became a priority for me in 2015 while I was in pharmacy school. At the time I was almost 300 lbs and experiencing panic attacks. I had chosen a career in healthcare, but was not taking care of my own wellbeing. I decided to make a change. That year I lost 100lbs, and since then have developed a passion for teaching and sharing information about sustainable fitness and nutrition. My training focuses on functional strength and endurance mainly using kettlebells. I practice yoga regularly and enjoy running! The best thing about TRVFIT is whatever your goals are there is something for you. The gym has always been such a positive and safe space for me, I hope to bring the same energy for everyone training at TRVFIT!

Hi I’m Paige! Fitness has always been a part of my life, as I’ve played sports for over 20 years. I ultimately decided to focus on swimming and went on to compete as a Division I swimmer at Western Kentucky University. After graduating, I realized I could train in different ways and really fell in love with working out. I love being able to be a part of a fitness community, coaching a group of people who work hard at the gym, and I truly thrive on coaching them as they reach and exceed their goals. In my classes you can expect a mix of high energy, a good challenge, and lots of fun! When I’m not at the gym I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, and exploring what Detroit has to offer. Can’t wait to see you at TRVFIT!

Our 3,000 sq. ft. gym is designed for strength, conditioning, and high-performance training. We have a dedicated strength area with a six-stand rig for squats, bench presses, and pull-ups, plus a 50-ft turf zone for sled work and athletic training.
We also feature a private training space, a sliding system for boxing bags, and a garage door that opens up for outdoor workouts in warmer months. For added convenience, we have a shower, single bathroom, and communal restrooms, as well as a drinking fountain in our shared space.
